How To Repost Videos and Photos On Instagram

By on March 3, 2017

There’s nothing better than sharing something we adore with our friends and family on our timeline’s whether it be on Facebook, Instagram or even Snapchat. But Instagram makes that especially difficult for us, as there isn’t an option to ‘repost’ or ‘share’ directly onto our feeds that other people can see. Although we can share anything we want when we take a video and photograph, we don’t have the option to share other people’s awesome content with our plethora of followers. That can be extremely frustrating at times. But, there’s no need to let that get you down! There are plenty of other ways you can get around Instagram’s no repost problem. We’ll guide you through what works to help you start reposting immediately!

Option 1: Screenshot

This is the simplest and easiest method to repost if you’re in a hurry. All you need to do is figure out how to screenshot something on your phone. Screenshotting is when your phone captures the current image on your screen and saves it to your gallery or camera roll. Usually this can be done by pressing your home button and your power button simultaneously. However, not all phones use the same button combination to screenshot. The best thing you can do is look up your phone’s way of doing so. After you snap the screenshot you can go ahead and upload the content right onto your Instagram.

Option 2: Repost For Instagram

If you’d rather download an app instead of using screen capture that’s A-OK, too! Downloading an app will save you the time of saving and uploading a picture. It’s much more convenient. Repost For Instagram is an app that can be found in the Itunes Store or the Google Play Store. It’s been reviewed at a 4.6 on apple products and a 3.9 on android ones. Definitely not a bad review for either. This app lets you repost while still accrediting the original poster. Pretty neat, huh? All you need to do is click download and you’re all set to start reposting at any time.

Option 3: Regram

Regram is another awesome app invented just to help you repost great content on Insta anytime, anywhere. It’s available in both the Apple Store and the Android store. It’s been reviewed at 4.5 on the Itunes store and 4.3 on Google Play. Those are pretty promising numbers that this app rocks! To use it you just copy the link of the original post and then you let Regram do the rest of the work for you. As easy and sweet as apple pie!

Option 4: RepostWhiz

If you’re not certain about the other applications we’ve listed above for you then RepostWhiz is your next best bet to start regramming on Instagram today. This app comes in with a review of 3.6 in the Google Play Store and a 4.1 in the Itunes store. Not as great as the previous listed apps but still not too shabby! This app helps you accomplish the goal of reposting within seconds, making it fast and convenient for you.

Option 5:  IconSquare (Previously known as Stratigram)

There are times when you’re a heavy Instagram user and simple apps to repost just won’t cut you. You can take it a step further by using a service such as IconSquare, which is known for helping managing Instagram accounts and analytics.
