What Makes Men Fall in Love

It’s the unknown question that every woman is dying to know: what’s the one thing that makes a man fall in love? Well, everyone is different- but we’ve listed the top 15 reasons a man might go from, “Hey, I really like this chick” to “I’m head over heels in love with her”. Give them a try- you never know what the outcome may be.

1. He Feels Wanted and Needed

It’s no secret that it’s human nature to want to feel wanted and needed by your partner. But sometimes, when we’re in a relationship, we forget to make our partner feel this way (especially when the relationship has been going on for a long time). It’s important to make sure your guy is feeling wanted and needed at all times, whether you need him to open a jar for you, or whether you want him to give you a big giant kiss every night before you fall asleep.

2. His Opinion Matters

Have you ever been in a relationship with someone who could care less about what you think or feel about a certain topic? It sucks. Bad. Your voice isn’t heard and you feel worthless. Making sure you get his opinion on things often- and actually listening and considering his opinions- will in turn make him feel WANTED and NEEDED, and that his voice matters to you. Make sure you’re asking how he feels about things, from big to small (what he thinks about your new red dress or the new car you’re considering buying!).

3. He’s Attracted to Her

Umm, you’re probably thinking “Duh”. But this is actually so incredibly important. I don’t know if you’ve ever heard the phrase “Men fall in love with what they SEE, women fall in love with what they HEAR”, but for the most part it’s true. Make sure you’re looking good for him as much as possible. Obviously you don’t have to look like you’re stepping onto the Red Carpet every day, but you should at least be presentable and dress up often.

4. He Feels Like Your Personal Superhero

Men love to be superheroes for women. It is part of their DNA. If you make him feel like he’s your very own superhero, he will more than likely deem you his little Lois Lane and fall head over heels for you. So when you can, play the innocent lady who needs a strong man’s hand as much as possible.

5. She Flaunts Him

Guys LOVE it when their woman flaunt him. It makes them feel powerful, special, and loved, and gives them a serious ego boost. Try wearing his clothes (to bed AND in public) and talking about him with your girlfriends a lot (and if he “accidentally” overhears your conversation, that’s bonus points!).

6. He Has Plenty of Personal Space

I don’t care how much you love someone- you need personal space every now and then. And clinginess is a MAJOR turn off. It means you lack confidence and you don’t trust your man (and you may be a little desperate, too!). How could he fall in love with someone who doesn’t trust him and is a little desperate/jealous for his attention? It’s basically impossible.

7. She Plays Hard to Get

It’s the old game of cat and mouse. Men love a good chase, so playing hard to get is always a good idea. Of course, you don’t want to keep him on the string too long or he might get bored. But being mysterious and being a little bit of a tease can really go far when it comes to romance.

8. She’s Spontaneous 

Ladies, we love when our men are spontaneous, right? Well, then we should be, too! It works both ways. We don’t want to be with someone boring and neither do they. Be spontaneous. Be free and careless and silly from time to time. Come up with random and fun date nights. Be willing to try new things (in and out of the bedroom). He will love it and it will certainly help him climb on board the “LOVE” train.

9. She Makes Him Feel Sexier

A man wants to be with a woman who makes him feel sexier. It’s as easy as that. So how can you do this? Flirt with him a lot: even if you’ve been in a relationship for months (or even years). Never let the flame die. Compliment him often and always make him feel like he’s the sexiest man on earth. He won’t be able to resist falling in love with you.

10. She Makes Him Happier

This one is pretty self explanatory. I mean, why would you fall in love with someone that makes you depressed, let alone be in a relationship with? If you make him happy, there’s only one thing left for him to do: and that’s love you. So try to put a smile on his face as often as possible and try to stray away from being a nag or a “debbie downer”.

11. She’s Comforting to Him

Even men have bad days, and when they have bad days, there’s only one thing they want: and that’s their supportive women. Men crave a women that will be by their side no matter what. And if YOU are the girl he always turns to in strife and YOU are the only girl who can bring him out of his rut with support, comfort, and positivity, he will stick to you like glue.

12. She’s Fun

This really goes hand in hand with being spontaneous, and it is absolutely important. You know they say the sexiest thing about a woman is her smile- and men love a woman who smiles often. They love it even more when this silly, smiling chick isn’t afraid to be totally crazy and silly from time to time. Show him you’re not some kind of stuck up prude that’s “too hot to have a good time”. Show him you can be totally fun no matter what and he’ll love you for it.

13. He’s Sexually Satisfied

Men think about sex. A lot. They need to be sexually satisfied. (Ok, this goes for woman too. But for the sake of this blog lets focus on the men). If he isn’t satisfied in the bedroom, there’s just simply no way any love can take place. After all, when you love someone, sex is automatically heaps and bounds better then relations with someone you’re not emotionally connected to. (It’s been proven). So keep things spicy, switch it up, and surprise him every now and then!

14. She Makes Him a Better Person

You should always be with someone who makes you a better person. Hands down. So always try and be a positive and supportive woman, and he will thank you for it in the long run.

15. He Feels Secure

Men need security just like women do. If he feels secure in you and in the relationship, then love is sure to follow. Let him know that he can talk to you about literally anything, and prove to him that you are a trustworthy lady that will be by his side no matter what. This type of security will give him the CONFIDENCE needed to step into the world of LOVE.
