What Does It Mean When You Dream About Someone Dying?

Dreams are thought to show that your mind is healthy and interacting around you. When you get enough sleep at night, you will dream even if you do not remember the dreams. During some of these dreams, you may experience a loved one or someone else dying. Although this can be terrifying to experience during the dream, it is generally not a sign that someone is going to die. Instead, death is normally interpreted as one of the following dream meanings.

Fear and feelings of being afraid are extremely common themes for your dreams. You may feel afraid of losing someone, and that could be the reason why you are dreaming of death. Likewise, death-related dreams may be caused by terrible childhood memories or phobias of water, public speaking, heights or similar things. Even if you do not have a traumatic event or negative feelings in your current life, that does not stop you from fearing loss. When you love someone, it is normal to fear losing them. You Could Be Pregnant

I had a dream that I was with my old best friend and he died by getting shot by someone that I don’t particularly like, but they don’t know that. Once he was shot, somehow me and the person that I don’t like tried to hide the body (in a black trash bag) in a elevator and than the dream ended. I’m scared to go back to sleep but really need help with this one!

It’s currently 4 am where I’m at right now and I woke up crying and stressed and frustrated but in my dream, I was at like at someone’s party but I don’t remember how I got there, I just remember walking in. So at the party, it’s been a while and I receive a call from my mom (note that in real life my mom always call me if she ever needs anything or just to make sure I got somewhere safe) but in the phone call she just says “hey I’m leaving, I’m cold and sad” and she sniffles like she’s been crying and she takes her last breath. There’s no sign of like suicide she just said good-bye. What does that mean? It hurts even though it’s not real

I had a dream just this morning. In my dream, my roommate was found dead after missing for a few days. Worst part is she was in a trash bag, so it was speculated that she was murdered.

I just had a dream (and cannot go back to sleep because of it), where I was watching two news reporters sitting on a rock ledge at the Grand Canyon. The rock was very unstable and barely attached to the rest of the canyon. (Almost like an upside down pyramid…. with the bottom of it, where they were sitting on top of… on an area approximately 4ft by 5ft). As the news camera began zooming out (from a few hundred yards away)… I watched the rock break off and both reporters fall a long way down… till their bodies finally hit a slopes part of the canyon, and their bodies rolled and became all mangled against other rocks. A few seconds later… the news station realized what just happened and cut to a commercial.

I would have to know more about the entire situation to tell you exactly what it means. Judging by just what you said, you may have a fear that you could lose someone close to you or have them hurt in some way without any ability to actually stop that situation from happening.

I had a dream that my late husband, I am currently remarried, let a couple have sex in our bed and she died. I was asleep on the couch apparently while this happened. I did not see the dead woman but I remember looking at the bed and thinking it’s really small for us to sleep in. For some reason I also drank pickle juice from the jar in my dream. I was really upset over this woman dying and my husband letting them use our bed. It just seemed like a really strange dream to me. What could it mean?

I had a dream theses two “spirits” were after me and my sister, I didn’t know why.(my mom wasn’t in the dream just a bunch of friends) in the end my friends got in to a car to get away but there was to much to fit so they all went first and I texted my dad to grab expensive from the house and clothes. The road we were on some how turned in to a cabin thing that was though some trees when he was coming with the stuff the “spirits” hit his head to the point where it was bleeding and all I could do was watch because ik if I went down there I was gonna die too.

I had a dream where the father of my best friend died. We all got very sad and emotional, especially me because i have a very good relationship with her parents.
Her mother is pregnant and since she was having a boy after 4 girls, she was very happy about that ( this happened in real life, the pregnancy part i mean ), but now in the dream she seemed to not want the baby anymore.

I had a dream in which my grandma died of cancer. She doesn’t have cancer and hopefully never will. Well, technically she died because they euthanized her because she didn’t want to be in pain. I had to say goodbye to her and everything. I remember falling asleep and waking up to her just laying and waiting for medicine to kick in. 3rd day , to somehow overcome the grief of the death of my parents i went out and bought a dog which i fell instently in love,
the second i go out with him for a walk , he got hit by a truck

My cousin died almost 2 months ago and in my dream my dad killed my brother and my mom divorced him. Then my mom died of cancer (my grandma had cancer a while ago.) even though my mom had “died” I was the only one who could see her all the time as if she was still there. I’m just confused because in real life my cousin died and my grandma had cancer, both events occurred in my dream.

I had a dream that i am near a hospital and having a cold drink after my friend’s sister’s operation. So some random vendor comes up to me to sell a drink. I say no to him. He gets so angry that he fills the bottle with water and throws the water on me. Next day i goto him in anger and ask him why he did that. I had a glass that i wanted to crack before him to show my anger. Situation turn to the extent that he he will jump down the building if i ask so. I said yes. He jumped down. Later there is a court scene.. my fam is there.. i am so worried that if i go to jail then my life will be spoilt. As a good gesture I ask my sister to contact that person’s wife and daughter, for any financial help.

I had a dream in which I was in an unknown place with my family and we were staying in an apartment building. I was sitting in the balcony of our flat and I saw six people were trying to fix an electric pole (they had no harness) which was right beside the balcony. I saw them and then i reached out for my mobile for playing game as I was bored. Then suddenly i heard a scream from below and i was shocked to see one man had fallen down below and then one after another 4 people out of six had fallen down to death. I was so shocked and panicked, i went inside to tell my family about it and then i came back to find the last two people finished their job and were nowhere to be seen. It all felt so real

I had a dream that my crush and I finally started to date, we were so in love, happy. Then suddenly one day a friend tells me he died. We had no clue as to how this happened and I was devastated, hysterically crying and I felt every pain and tear in that dream. Then it changed to me drowning from how sad I was that he was gone.

I had a dream i was in the hospital and saw a random body-less person hooked up to tubes. He threw the tube that he was breathing in, which had a sharp needle, and it pierced me and someone in front of me at the same time. I wanted to punch him but he died right after throwing the needle and I soon died after. I’ve been having several death dreams of random strangers but this is the first time I died. I saw a dream in which i was sitting my exams in my classroom with random people from school and a junior freind of mine started coughing uncontrollably. Then, she was coughing up pools of blood. No one knew what to do. Everyone was crying and panicking. I had a dream my friend came over to sleepover and I had this weird feeling that someone was watching us. It wasn’t a human being. The following day, in that dream, my friend died. I attended the funeral. After that I came home and went to the bathroom. The bathroom was the old before we had it renovated. It was dark and I saw a silhouette of my mom and she stood up but she transformed into a ghost, a boy with distorted face. He told me that I’m the next one. A few days ago, another friend of mine(not the one I mentioned before) committed suicide by hanging. I’m so sad to learn that he was struggling but he didn’t appear in my dream. Should I warn my other friend about this? Because she appeared in my dream and I have a feeling this is connected to my friend who died recently in real life. What does it mean I’m next? Please I need answers.

So I dreamt about me and my friend on a military base I think? And I don’t know why we were there, probably trespassing. The weird thing is I didn’t see any soldiers, they looked like regular people. Anyways, I wanted to escape through the window but due to him having watch everywhere I wasn’t sure how it was going to be. Next thing I know, I opened the window and I see this stranger laying down on the street bleeding while some people were surrounding him (I didn’t looked shocked or anything, my main goal was to escape) I guess I didn’t care in the dream? But I told my friend there’s a guy dying and someone stole his finger?? Then one of the people was walking passed our room and I made a fake excuse we we’re really hurt but they ignored me due to them trying to find a phone or something to report the death of the guy.
