About Us

We all carry stories, some we share, and some we quietly hold onto.

Her Interest is a space for both.

This site has been around for years. It began as a lively place for lifestyle tips, trends, and everyday inspiration. That legacy matters, and we don’t take it lightly.

But as people grow, so do the spaces they return to.

Today, Her Interest has shifted toward something quieter and deeper. It is built not on algorithms or trends, but on what it feels like to be human. We write about love, loss, healing, faith, longing, reflection, and the words we wish someone had said when we needed them most.

We’re a team of writers and thinkers who understand what it’s like to feel too much, say too little, and search for something steady in the middle of it all. That’s why everything you read here is written with care (not to impress, but to reach).

We know life isn’t always loud. Sometimes, what we need is softness. A prayer at the right time. A letter that sounds like your own thoughts. A sentence that makes you pause and say, “Yes. That’s exactly it.”

If you’ve found us in a moment of searching, or simply stopped by for a little peace, you’re in the right place.

Thanks for being part of the story — past, present, and whatever comes next.

How We Found Her Interest: Stories of Our Founders

None of us planned to take this on. We weren’t looking to “start something.” We just happened to land here, at different times, for other reasons. Here’s how it started.

Alex — “I created Her Interest to offer a space for quiet inspiration.”

Her Interest began as my way of sharing quotes and original thoughts that felt rooted in something deeper. My hope was to build a space where people could return for steady, meaningful messages, something that feels like a pause in the noise.

What started as a quiet outlet turned into a place where others found comfort, too. And I’m still here, sharing the words I hope someone needs.

Alexis Vaughn — “I stumbled on it when I was searching for something that felt real.”

I wasn’t looking for a new project. I was just trying to make sense of things happening in my life, and somehow ended up on a post from Her Interest. It felt grounded, like it had been written with care.

I kept returning, not just for the content but also for the tone. It felt like someone had left a light on. A few months later, I reached out to see who was still behind the scenes. That email changed everything.

Violet Harper — “It reminded me why I started writing in the first place.”

When Alexis told me about the site, I clicked out of curiosity and stayed for hours. I had stopped sharing my writing a long time ago, unsure if it even mattered anymore, but this space made it feel possible again.

We started exchanging ideas quietly, then regularly. I loved the thought of contributing not to a brand, but to something that felt personal. The kind of place I would’ve needed during harder seasons.

Logan Foster — “I was invited in, and somehow it just made sense.”

I wasn’t part of the first few conversations. But I’d been friends with Violet for years, and she sent me a draft they were working on. I read it and replied with a single line: “Please tell me you’re keeping this going.”

They pulled me into a call soon after, and by the end of it, I knew I wanted to be involved. My background isn’t traditional, but I’ve always believed in thoughtful work, and this felt like a rare opportunity to build something with meaning.

Eli Carter — “They didn’t need another voice, but I’m grateful they made space for mine.”

I joined a little later. Logan had posted something that struck a chord, and I messaged him just to say thank you. That turned into a conversation. Then another.

At the time, I was feeling disconnected from most of what I was doing. Her Interest felt different, slower, and more intentional. When they asked if I’d help shape the next phase, I said yes. Not because I had all the answers, but because it felt like something worth giving time to.
